As a member of the Contracts Team, I specialize in reviewing and negotiating contracts for three departments all of which are primarily funded by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. The range of contracts span building and administering large-scale affordable housing developments and funding community service agencies to abatement of blighted properties to stormwater management infrastructure-design and implementation projects to make the City more resilient to natural disasters. I review all supplementary documents, accessory contracts, and exhibits essential to prevent invalidation of contracts. In addition, I research and advise these client-departments on local, state, and federal laws. Finally, I work with staff to navigate the City’s process and steward contracts to full execution.
