I am an Occupational Psychologist, Neuropsychologist and trainee Counselling Psychologist working in the field of Diversity and Inclusion. My particular areas of interest are developmental neurodivergence and LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly those who are transgender and gender diverse. I work from a social model and hold that the design of work and educational environments, policies and procedures and societal and organisational cultures are at the root of the exclusion of minoritised groups. Addressing these needs is of benefit to all. The aim of my work is to help individuals and those working with them to identify and address causes of exclusion, develop understanding and pride in minoritised identities and enhance well-being. I have worked in this field for over 20 years and consider it an honour to continue to work towards addressing inequalities experienced by people in these groups, of which I am also a member.
