Dr. Aleksandra Vojvodic's research group in the Penn Institute for Computational Science (PICS) uses computational frameworks to model surface and interface properties of complex materials. I contribute to a project focused on modeling the stability and dissolution of metal oxide electrocatalysts under various operating conditions for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) using density functional theory (DFT). Our work also involves simulating the properties of materials with dopants, defects, and adsorbates, and we collaborate and share data with experimental groups.

Under the mentorship of Dr. Dylan Rankin in the PennATLAS group, I work on analyzing particle collision data from the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Specifically, I work on improving topological cluster reconstruction by varying calorimeter cell timing and other parameters using C++ and Python within the ROOT framework.

BrightMinds is a Montreal-based peer tutoring initiative that promotes academic excellence and teamwork, helping students take those crucial first steps toward their academic goals. We believe in the uniqueness and potential of every student, and we strive to make learning engaging, enjoyable, and accessible to all, regardless of their academic background. Our tutoring services cover a wide range of STEM-related subjects, centering around mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. We offer both one-on-one and small group sessions, so students can choose the environment that best suits their needs and preferences.

- Commander of the 338 Junior Wildcats Squadron, the largest squadron in Quebec.- Instructed cadets about ceremonial drill, leadership principles, team-building, meteorology, and radio theory. - Ensured cohesion among all cadets aged 12-18, progressing in 5 training levels.- Personally mentored a team of senior and staff cadets (Sergeants, Flight Sergeants and Warrant Officers 2nd Class), providing regular feedback and leadership guidance.- Led aviation lessons for student pilots applying for the National Aviation Scholarship, which I earned in May 2022 to obtain a private pilot license 2 months later.- Received my 6-year Service Medal from the Air Cadet League of Canada in January 2023.

- Liaised with external organizations, university programs, guest speakers, and non-profits to organize student life activities.- Facilitated regular communication with other Anglophone CEGEPs to exchange updates and share innovative initiatives, fostering a collaborative community.- Championed sustainable practices at Marianopolis through the implementation of green initiatives (masks recycling, vegan cafeteria options, climate week).
