I joined the Agile deployment team in August 2021. The role involves being deployed into high priority work streams for short term projects performing policy and analytical roles.- I use a strong analytical basis, with experience undertaking economic and financial assessments. This has included assessing the value for money of Budget initiatives and multi-billion dollar capital investments, reviewing the existing activities and financial governance of large government organisations, developing fiscal forecast scenarios, and conducting cost-benefit, multi-criteria, and risk analyses of policy proposals.- I am a clear communicator, with experience providing advice to Ministers and senior stakeholders across the public sector. This has included drafting briefings, Cabinet papers, and public-facing documents, and providing oral advice to the Ministers and their offices.- I think strategically, with experience working in complex systems on developing and shifting long-term visions. This has included reviewing and advising on significant in-development government strategies and connecting new proposals into the broader system context.

As a graduate analyst I worked as Vote analyst for the primary industries, joined the COVID Monitoring and Insights team to support our COVID-19 advice with data and evidence, supported the Skills and Work team on fair pay agreement policy, and lead the personnel stream of the Natural Resources Cluster spending review.

I taught workshops of various spectroscopic methods to first year students, bringing skills from my personal experience using the techniques and teaching in other areas to provide an engaging learning environment. In addition to this, I tutored in Chemistry and Physics laboratories, demonstrating proper practices and assisting with conceptual understanding.

I was chosen by the University to represent the Science Faculty in the Know Your Mind Campaign, where I modelled for advertising purposes, and filmed in a short focussed on my experiences in Wellington and at the University.

During my time at Coffee Supreme I became a valuable member of the Finance Team, maintaining the daily Accounts Payable processes and supporting a transition from Xero to MYOB Advanced.

As a Team Leader at Inspiration Education my main responsibilities were to provide training for new tutors and supervise existing tutors, facilitating their ongoing personal growth and encourage their involvement with the other engagement opportunities within the company. I also maintained communication with the management team and provided feedback about the tutors, and about the general efficiency of the company.

I provided one-on-one mentoring to high school students studying Mathematics, Chemistry, or Physics, and online tutoring in any area required. This has significantly developed my communication skills and my ability to identify key aspects of learning that need improvement.
