My working career started in the restaurant industry, where I started as a dishwasher and line cook and in time found my niche as a bartender. After 6 years of bartending, I started my own restaurant and bar business, The Hidden Still, in 2013. The Hidden Still was a tremendous learning experience, allowing me on-the-job training in customer service, leadership and strategy.Though I loved the restaurant industry, especially the immediate gratification that came with ensuring customers were satisfied inThe late hours and irregular schedule proved to be Almost five years after opening the restaurant, I seized an opportunity to sell the business successfully and move on.Today I work in the aftermarket automotive refinish industry as a service technician for an auto body paint and material distributor. I still apply all of the principles that I learned in the restaurant industry, specifically holding myself to an extremely high standard with regard to the service that I provide to clients.I take pride in my daily work, helping auto body professionals to learn their product line completely, solve problems as they arise, and develop standard operating procedures to move forward. I am excited about the technologies and processes that are emerging daily in the industry and I look forward to growing and evolving with the automotive refinish world.
