MoveByBike is a sustainable last-mile logistics service that operates on electrically assisted cargo bikes. With a mission to enhance the urban environment, MoveByBike aims to achieve this by minimizing the presence of traditional freight vehicles in the city. By doing so, the service contributes to a reduction in noise and air pollution, aspiring to transform Copenhagen into a more enjoyable and environmentally friendly place to live. Main responsibilities: • Collaborated with the Head of Last Mile Operations to ensure the efficient functioning of daily operations.• Engaged in consultations with urban design agencies, offering insights on integrating cargo bikes into the design stage of new developments. • Coordinated effectively with staff and partners to maintain a real-time overview of operations and ensure smooth workflow. • Played a key role in the recruitment process and trained new team members on the safe operations of cargo bikes.

Working within the Traffic unit of the Technical and Environmental administration of Københavns Kommune, my main role was supporting the team working on the EU projects, ELABORATOR and MegaBITS. These projects share similar themes of exploring ways in which Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) can be implemented to improve mobility and access for people using green modes of transportation, as well as sharing data and best practices with partner cities to support the EU’s green mobility transition. Main responsibilities: • Provided GIS capabilities to the team, by mapping elements of the City's traffic management system.• Supported the team in the formulation and submission of documents pertaining to the EU projects. • Collaborated with team members to identify appropriate locations for the installation of traffic monitoring equipment.• Conducted a comprehensive analysis of all components of the work packages within the projects.
