In this role, I designed, developed, and deployed a completely custom in-house inventory management application, with a user-facing toolset, which included several features specifically designed for the unique requirements of Torpedo Bags. One of these features was a automated bag matching feature, which allowed customers to submit measurements from their own musical instruments and automatically be paired with the best match.

Led design and production of negative molds for the foam inserts of musical instrument cases. In doing this, I developed a low-cost novel production process for machining hollow, convex molds on a 3-axis router. Additionally, I refurbished a heavily damaged 4'x4' CNC router, deployed security camera infrastructure, and created an automatic dust collection solution to protect the textiles from the dust creating by the machining process.

As Chief Engineer, I oversaw the development of all technical projects, including software developent, mechanical and electrical design, and organizational systems for the team of 60+ high school students. A large part of this role was the management of the mentorship of 250+ students through educational robotics programs ranging from kindergarten to senior year of high school. It was through this role that I learned the value and impact of effective communication, public speaking, time management, organization, and developed an understanding of the complex dynamics of leadership. Additionally I strengthed my abilities surrounding software development, mechanical design, and logistics.

In this role, I grew the department population by 1200% in 3 months via intensive recruiting and large-scale rebranding of software's role on a modern robotics team, which converted a dwindling, struggling department into the strongest aspect of the team. I led this newly empowered team to write a software framework that went on to win numerous state-level awards. Additionally, I used my knowledge and resources to teach technical classes to hundreds of robotics students of all ages about programming, electrical , machine design, and CAD across the state of Minnesota.
