I am a freshman in Computer Information Systems and Technology at the University of Texas at Dallas under the Davidson Management Honors Program, looking for opportunities to expand my skillset, build experience, and broaden my horizons in the corporate world. I have experience in information technology, management, and lifeguarding.My commitment to my first job at Oak Point Recreation Center has allowed me to build a strong foundation in the lifeguarding world, as well as the experience to earn my instructor certification. My instructor certification has been invaluable in building my confidence in my own skills and in learning how to conduct myself as a leader.My experience at Oak Point allowed me to earn a position at Bent Tree Country Club, where I quickly reached the position of manager. Being manager built upon my previous experiences as instructor, with a more serious focus on management, I have become comfortable observing and correcting fellow employees, as well as managing day-to-day facility operations consistently and reliably without supervision.In high school, I was fortunate enough to earn three interviews under the Plano Mayors Summer Internship Program. It was here that I decided to undertake a Summer internship at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Under the guidance of my boss, I was given opportunities to shadow and experience the many facets of the IT department there, as well as working on a front end development project with my fellow intern that we later presented to senior company executives at the end of our term.
