I’m a class of 2022, B.S. Chemical Engineering recent graduate. I believe that environmental sustainability is the solution to many of the problems the world currently faces and that we can achieve it through renewable energies. I’m seeking opportunities in environmental sustainability and renewable energies. I hope to be apply the knowledge I’ve gained both through my coursework and my involvement as the local project lead for my university’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders. Growing up from a low-income background and being raised by a family of immigrants, the closest I was ever able to get to jobs in environmental sustainability was meeting the recycling man. Now as a student at the University of Rochester and majoring in Chemical Engineering I find myself closer than ever before to achieving this. Not only that, I find that I've gained valuable skills along the way such as water quality testing, energy systems analysis, and general laboratory skills that I am now able to apply to future opportunities in either environmental sustainability or renewable energies.
