I supplemented and advised Master's level Mechatronics students working on the modelling of an SV3 Wave Glider platform from Liquid Robotics.I was responsible for supplying realistic approximations of mass, inertia, hydrostatic and hydrodynamic properties of the platform.Created a 3D CAD model of the wave glider and float using measured data.Approximated hydrodynamic properties using Solidworks Flow Simulation specifically investigating drag and thrust for different fin and rudder angles.Documented and coordinated transfer of data to student working simulations.

Commissioning of the Seahog ROV system:I was tasked to complete the final stages of system integration and manufacture on the Seahog ROV, allowing it to be water ready in a controlled underwater environment. The contract included project management and system engineering practices such as sufficient documentation of work, supervision and instruction of new Master's students and sourcing, budgeting and procuring of services and components.Other specific tasks included:Labview and C software integration of thruster modules.Installation of electrical protection circuits.Debugging of complex robotic system.Manufacture of passive buoyancy block - multi laminate, multi stage manufacturing process.

Design and specification of furnace components and creation of design templates for furnace components. Digitalisation of records and cross checking of PID diagrams on major projects.
