Current Student at the University of Southampton, studying a Masters in Aeronautical Engineering.Previously a Student at Wellingborough School at which I studied Maths, Physics and History. Within the School I held positions of responsibility such as Head Boy, Head of Royal Marines CCF.I found my drive to study Aeronautics and Aerospace upon writing my EPQ in Aerodynamics in Formula 1 focussing on the evolution of aerodynamics.I was privileged enough to be Head Boy of school, I led assemblies, assisted with Open Days, gave speeches to prospective pupils and their parents and worked with the other prefects on new initiatives to move the school forward. The main initiative that I led during my tenure was the Wellingborough CLUB which stands for Culture, Language, Understanding and Behaviour and the goal of the CLUB is to educate the school on all types of discrimination and how to end them. Having now left the school I am glad to see the new group of Prefects take this idea and continue to develop it way into the future.As a Fellow of the Rank Foundation I have learnt numerous leadership skills that I apply to everyday life. But, in return I have joined working groups and the steering committee to help advance the Foundation to ensure those after me have a great experience like mine.During my first year of University I have consolidated engineering fundamentals that will allow me to develop my engineering skills further I have also with the Formula Student team developed a variable traction control system and active drag reduction system, this gave me the opportunity to develop my coding and MatLab Skills beyond the teaching of my degree.
