I worked on a variety of client-based and research-focused projects with small teams of Analysts, Associates and Principals. First, I analyzed 40 years of government collected nutrition data to determine if people in a variety of demographic groups consume foods differently. This involved worked with large datasets and discussing results in teams with the use of summary statistics and graphs. Second, I examined cases heard in the UK commercial court in order to determine the key economic issues at play. This involved developing a consistent and easily repeatable system for classifying cases and using databases to quickly find relevant filings. I also used python based text mining programs to separate long legal documents into useful sub-fields and topics.
