Their thesis is titled, "The Native American Graves and Repatriation Act, 35 Years OnProgression or Regression? An Analysis of the Law and the Impact of it All". They are a descendant of the Yankton Sioux and Teton Bands of Dakota and Lakota people who now reside in North and South Dakota. They are passionate about allowing tribal nations to bridge the gap in museums and historical organizations to be able to tell their own stories from an Indigenous lens and to enable Indigenous nations to be self sustaining in the work they do around their history, cultural resource management, and storytelling.
