I have studied Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine independently for over 20 years. I lived in India for 2 years in a Buddhist ashram, studying meditation, psychology, and alchemical medicines including the ritualistic use of cannabis. After studying computer science and working as a software developer for over 10 years, I went back to Roosevelt University in Chicago and completed a B.S. in Chemistry in 2011.I have a passion for product development, incorporating the art of product aesthetics (flavor, aroma, etc.) with the science of pharmacognosy and traditional medicine theory. My goal at Fairwinds is to discover novel herbal formulas using traditional medicine theory and modern clinical studies, to develop products with maximum efficacy and safety.
