Project Engineer 2 - Water Resources
CurrentProject Engineer in the water resources division. My responsibilities include the design and project management of water supply, treatment, distribution, and storage projects for various public drinking water supply entities. I lead projects and coordinate multiple team members of various engineering disciplines, including electrical, structural/architectural, mechanical, and site civil, in order to design complex and state-of-the-art water treatment and distribution facilities for our clients. A critical part of this design is ensuring the new water infrastructure is in compliance with state and local regulatory agency requirements, as well as municipal and private client standards. My role also includes bidding projects for our clients and working with the awarded contractors throughout the construction process, reviewing construction submittals, managing project timelines, and contributing to construction inspection to ensure the projects are constructed in accordance with the design plans and specifications and are in regulatory compliance. I am also responsible for supervising staff level engineers, including assignment of tasks and quality review of work performed.
