As a part of the Investment Strategy team I was assigned to a project co-ordinating the de-merger from the Australian Chief Investment Office. The role involved:- Conducting analysis of global markets and currencies- Modelling financial data and assisting in recommending asset class tilts- Researching and testing various predictive and signalling data points- Analysing technical, sentiment, economic and valuation indicators- Evaluating external investment managers

ANZ Centralised Portfolio Management teamAs a part of the Centralised Portfolio Management team I look after the ANZ Private Bank Discretionary Investment portfolios. This includes managing portfolio implementation and rebalancing in accordance with tactical and strategic asset allocation across ANZ Private's 4,000+ portfolios.The role involves anything from co-ordinating the allocation of new fixed interest issues into portfolios to managing clients cash needs and balances. As part of the role key measures of success include; the high level of accuracy required, knowledge of both local and global markets, and innovative thinking and process improvement to improve management of portfolios

Global Wealth and Private Banking Graduate Programme.As part of the Graduate program I completed rotations around ANZ Wealth that included:- Centralised Portfolio Management team that is responsible for ANZ Private Banking Portfolios- Investment Management team responsible for the investment of ANZ client funds- Institutional and Wholesale Distribution team that is responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with Wholesale Investment clients.- ANZ Private and Investment Funds Product Governance team that is responsible for implementing the new FMCA regulations across the funds management business
