After graduating as a chemical engineer and working with BP, I joined Shell in 1998 and have remained with them for my career to date. During this time I have worked in Petrochemicals and in Marketing with the majority of experience in Oil Refining. I have developed a broad platform of experience through roles in project management, process engineering, business development, operations and HSSE. The last 5 years have been spent as a member of the senior leadership team at a facility with 800 employee and contracting staff. Utilising my broad background I have been involved in turning around the sites safety and operational availability performance to be world class.
