Remote geosteer horizontal oil and gas rigs in multiple basins. I used SES and StarSteer. I regularly monitored 3-6 wells at a time.

I over saw regular field events and subcontractors, including: scheduling, equipment rental, lab work, and more. I modeled the data and made recommendations for new monitoring points and helped in remediation plans.

At Rex I helped generate maps of interest, as well as gather data on current activities from multiple sources. I used PETRA, ARC/GIS, and Microsoft office on a daily basis. I also briefly helped steer some of our rigs. I collected data and analyzed plays in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Illinois.

Exton, PA

I worked in our geophysical acquisition and data processing department. Where I regularly interacted with the clients, generated reports and deliverables. I also helped with packer testing and field sampling. I used WellCad (ver 4.4) and other Cad programs on a regular basis. I was given the responsibility of office manager, and helped maintain supply.

West Virginia & Louisiana

I worked as a field geologist / mud logger. I collected samples, setup our data acquisition systems, and generated regular reports for the client.

For a summer I worked as a commercial fisherman set net fishing on the Nushogak river mouth.

Eastern Ohio & Western PA

For a summer internship I had the pleasure of working at Appalachian Geophysical. I started out conducting surveys using GPS ahead of line crews. I then helped the line crew lay and recover geophones. I worked briefly with the shot crew (placing explosives down hole) and the roadside shaker trucks. My internship culminated with an introduction to energy.
