-From May 2023 to August 2023: responsible for the modeling of components and construction of a model of the Rio Puerto Nuevo for the reconstruction of the river bed and walls to change the floodplain. -Utilized software and machining systems, specifically for models involving steel, aluminum, soil, rock, foam, and plywood components to model and create elements of hydraulic models on large and small scales.-Utilized surveying equipment, design software, manufactured parts, elementary hydraulics, heavy machinery, and engineering processes to execute objectives.-Experience in industry testing, including articulated concrete block testing, hydraulic jump performance, local scour phenomena, and energy dissipation structures.-Developed an understanding of material qualities and limitations by working with steel structures proportional concrete testing, surface roughness, and compaction factors.-Relevant projects and industry partners include the Gross Reservoir spillway model, Los Vaqueros Resoir model, Whittier Narrows Dam model, Rio Puerto Nuevo model, Stantec, Propex Global, Maccaferri USA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, AECOM.
