Assistant Professor
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Dr. Jeff Conn, Neuropharmacology• Using ex vivo electrophysiology to unravel mechanisms of synaptic plasticity mediated by metabotropic glutamate (mGlu) receptors• Examining circuit-specific contributions of mGlu receptor function to behaviors related to motivation, stress exposure, and alcohol-seeking
Graduate Student
Dr. Brad Grueter, Neuropharmacology• Studied cell type-specific, cocaine-induced alterations in basal properties and synaptic plasticity in the nucleus accumbens• Used optogenetic manipulations to probe the differential roles of glutamatergic NAC inputs in reward-related, experience-driven behavioral and synaptic plasticity
