About Max K.

I have always had a natural curiosity. As VP of Business Development, it’s this curiosity that helps me build and maintain great relationships with clients over the years. I try to understand who the client is, what they need, and if there is a fit, how I can help. I find three milestones in building a business relationship especially rewarding: first contact, first PO, and first deliverable. The most satisfying moment for me is when we deliver our first project. That’s when we show that we truly are who we say we are. When we fulfill the potential that the client saw in us. It’s an amazing feeling. Having held a variety of leadership roles, I try to approach every interaction with sincerity. Nurturing authentic relationships is my bread and butter. I am an active listener who aims to quickly connect a client’s needs with the engineering solutions that put us in the best position to be helpful. I also put a lot of focus on vision and corporate strategy, where I work with senior leadership to first define and then manage our ever-evolving operational targets, growth objectives, and risks. This includes staying ahead of important changes in the industry, including decarbonization. Because decarbonization is here. It’s up to us to help its clients successfully manage this unprecedented transition. Ultimately, my focus is on safeguarding our clients’ assets and production capacity. During an identity exercise among senior directors a few years ago, I chose a chess piece, the queen, as best representing what the client means to us. Because in chess, you want to protect your queen. It is such a critical asset. And that's what we do with our clients. We are there to protect their investments.
