Max is a dynamic and driven high school student with a fervent interest in politics, civics, global affairs, community outreach/engagement, and Spanish Language & Culture. Max is the Founder and lead teacher at APRENDEMOS JUNTOS, an organization launching summer 2024 to serve his community of majority Spanish-speaking immigrants. Max’s passion for Spanish language, culture, and politics fueled the development of this program, supported by the Mayor of Guttenberg and the Town Council. At Dwight-Englewood, Max is currently serving as the Acting Student Body Vice-President, three-time Class President, Secretary-General of the Model United Nations Club, Co-President of the Study Buddies mentoring club, and Co-President of the Tour Guides club. Max speaks English & Spanish fluently and enjoys teaching/mentoring in both languages.
