Led pro bono technology consulting projects with tribal, local, state, and federal government agencies. Projects included software support for a Federal grant-funded anti-eviction campaign in a major metropolitan area, a custom website for a network of government digital service teams, and user research to improve a city’s 311 platform.

Helped launch and scale the Food Bank’s largest COVID-19 response program, temporary pop-up food pantries throughout San Francisco and Marin counties, serving 750,000 lbs of food to ~90,000 people every week. Later served as the liaison between the Food Bank and its 79 non-profit agency partners in the Tenderloin and Treasure Island neighborhoods of San Francisco.

Helped successfully integrate Trello into the Atlassian organization and ecosystem. Led major redesigns of the Trello web and mobile apps, focused on navigation and notifications. Forged a partnership with Unsplash (https://unsplash.com), launching an integration used millions of times per week in Trello.

Trello was acquired by Atlassian for $425mm in January 2017.First product hire. Led a team of 25 to internationalize Trello’s iOS, Android, and web apps and launch a localized Trello experience in Brazil, Germany, and Spain. Helped create the Trello platform, enabling developers to build third-party integrations and customizations directly within Trello. Led a re-write of Trello Business Class with new features and pricing. Built Trello's analytics stack and sales lead gen engine.

Led a team of 5 developers to research, prototype, and build an MVP for a new enterprise developer tools product. Based on beta feedback and sales projections, we decided that the business case did not justify further investment and paused the project.

Built and led the distributed technical team responsible for supporting Fog Creek's developer tools business. Managed day-to-day operations, strategic projects, recruiting, and hiring. Worked closely with design and engineering to leverage customer feedback into the team's product development cycles.

Designed custom business intelligence tools to help C-level clients in the healthcare and energy sectors manage capital investments ranging from $500MM to $8BN in size. Worked closely with developers to iterate on design, UX, and performance. Ran usability tests and gathered end-user feedback to direct feature improvements and new development.

Led the acquisition and management of a $4MM+ portfolio of commercial solar power plants, generating 10-15% returns for investors. Negotiated and procured raw materials (solar panels, inverters, monitoring equipment), and managed asset construction process with contractors.
