Was responsible for regular communication with Operations Manager regarding production planning, project management, staff scheduling, resource needs, and more. I developed and maintained all SOPs, cGMPs, HACCP plan, safety manual, and staff training. Was responsible for filing all tax and compliance reports. I was promoted to this role after serving as Production Manager and Quality Manager.

Kindred operates a 30-barrel brewhouse within a 15,000sf production brewery as well as an offsite 5,000sf barrel-aging and wild ale program.As the company’s first employee, Max managed the development of everything from construction planning to production processes. He managed all contractors and vendors with regard to equipment design, specification, installation and building construction. As the brewery opened, his focus became brewery operations and strategic growth.Day-to-day duties included but weren’t limited to production planning, recipe development, inventory management, wort production, cellar management, beer transfer, yeast management, packaging and quality assurance.Wort production was done with a 30-barrel, 3-vessel brewhouse manufactured by W.M. Sprinkman Corporation. This equipment was custom designed and built with special consideration to the building, recipes and other goals and limitations.
