* Note that projects are being executed simultaneously requiring great management skills and leadership to ensure teams alignment and focus. Each project have numerous stakeholders with competing interests requiring strong negotiation skills to manage effectively. The following are a few examples of projects or programs that are, or have been executed recently. Between 8 to 12 projects would normally fall under my portfolio at any given time.- Mission Bridge Program includes load evaluation and major repairs of the Filled Spandrel Wall Arch (FSWA) type structure spanning over the Elbow River. Work also includes widening of the existing sidewalks, repairs of the adjacent 200m-long retaining wall and traffic intersection upgrade interfacing with the bridge structure. ($17.8M) - 4th Avenue Flyover major rehabilitation of the 400m-long single CIP post-tensioned concrete box girder bridge spanning over roadways and The Bow river. The scope also includes lighting improvement on the structure and the decommissioning of 5 adjacent high-mass lighting poles. ($12.5M)- Major repairs of the 5th Avenue Flyover bridge (over The Bow River) involving post-tension cable rehabilitation and bridge capacity upgrade. ($10.3M)- Crowchild Trail Improvement consisting of adding a driving lane to 3 existing bridge structures over roads, railway and the Bow River. ($65.0M)- Rehabilitation of 3 additional bridges from the ones included in the Crowchild Trail Improvement project scope. Road barrier upgrade, new bearing design and installation, bridge deck repair and wearing surface replacement. ($10.0) - 16th Avenue over Crowchild repairs of the bridge substructure severely delaminated and affecting the pre-tensioning component of the precast girders. Scope includes concrete repairs and reinforcement (CFRP) of the girders. Wearing surface and expansion joint are also being replaced part of this project with the addition of a driving lane. ($2.5M)

Canada Task Force 2 is an ‘all hazards’ Disaster Response Team with diverse capacity to respond to a variety of large-scale emergencies or disasters, and provide support to the affected local communities. CAN-TF2 is a division of the Calgary Emergency Management Agency and is one of the six nationally recognized Heavy Urban Search and Rescue (HUSAR) teams in Canada. Members are selected following a throughout recruitment process for their exceptional leadership, composure in highly stressful environment and ability for making rapid decisions. Each must also maintain unique competence and skills requiring around 200 training hours per year.

- Process improvement (construction) of the Fort McMurray Wasterwater Treatment Plant ($5.8M)- Completion/Commissioning of the Fort McMurray Thickwood Reservoir ($5.2M)- Completion/Commissioning of the Fort McMurray Grayling Terrace Lift Station ($6.0M)

- Design of the Telephone Lake Access & Camp Road including geotechnical investigation for material suitability and deep foundation engineering, along with 5 bridge crossings. ($85M)- Design and construction of the Bruderheim terminal vehicle bridge. Bridge is over 120m long and crossing 4 live train tracks. ($5M)- Design and construction of Foster Creek NP1 consisting of road improvement, 24m-long bridge, 3 wellpads and approximately 3km of roads. ($8.5M)Notable Achievements with Cenovus Technology Development- Research project on muskeg strengthening options reducing or eliminating fill requirements (“Summer Ice Roads”). Research published in Nature Scientific Reports leading to an invitation as a keynote speaker at the 10th International Reservoir Engineering for Extreme Oil & Gas Environment.First Nations Small Businesses Mentoring- Established and implemented estimating tools, cost tracking systems and project management practices and processes with key targeted First Nations companies. Support and mentoring while executing projects.

- Design and construction of a 720-man camp and a 252-man camp along with all associated infrastructures (potable water wells and distribution system, wastewater treatment plant, power, natural gas station, etc.) ($40M)- Design and construction of 20km of access roads, nine wellpads and a 100ha central plant site. ($65M)- Design and construction of the permanent site offices, control room, heated warehouse and maintenance shop. ($18M)- Technical/geotechnical support of the piling and concrete program ($30M)- Regulatory approvals support- Alignment of the technical designs, specifications and work packages to meet the project business objectives and execution strategies- Lead and participate in design reviews and hazard assessments- Development of technical studies when identified as a need- Local community relationship and business development- Cost & Revenue projection and reporting- Contracts administration and negotiation- Project scheduling, progress & update

Project Engineer - AltaGas Forrest Kerr ($17M)Construction of a 440-man camp on the remote area of Forrest Kerr, a Tahltan First Nation land. The scope includes the drilling water wells, designing a potable water system, a waste water system, fire suppression, communication, power, heating fuel (propane) and fuel tank system.Piling/Civil Superintendant - Enmax Shepard Power Center ($24M) Construction of an 800MW gas fired power plant for the City of Calgary. Work includes the installation of 1,089 concrete drilled piers approximately 14.5 meters long using casing, and plant site rough grading.Project Engineer - Imperial Oil Kearl Oil Sands Pumphouse ($100M) Construction of a pumphouse on the bank of the Athabasca River in the region of Fort McMurray using a 14 circular cell cofferdam. High walls formwork design and soil stability analysis was required. Project Controls Lead - Imperial Oil Kearl Oil Sands Rough Grading ($650M) Rough grading of the Kearl oil extraction project lease in the Fort McMurray area by clearing hundreds of hectares of forest and by removing thousands of cubic meter of topsoil, muskeg and common material (51M m3). Several heavy haul roads were also built.Civil Engineer - Husky Energy Sunrise SAGD ($25M) Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study for the construction of an oil extraction plant in the Fort McMurray area using SAGD technology.Lead Concrete/Piling Field Engineer - MEG Energy SAGD Phase 2 ($30M) The second phase of this project is extracting 35,000 bbls/day of bitumen using the SAGD technology. Five wellpads were constructed along with the main plant site facilities.Concrete Field Engineer - CNRL Horizon Foundation ($50M) Construction of the power generation (CoGen), water treatment and steam generation foundation for the overall plant.
