In 1992 I taught myself to weld pipe and structural steel. Hoping for a trades opportunity in Sarnia’s Chemical Valley. A respected Businessman gave me a shot, in an economy with few job openings. I never took it for granted and was rewarded with UA Local 663 Membership.The following three decades has been an enjoyable and challenging Apprenticeship in Union Brotherhood, Steamfitting, Supervision, Management and Leadership. Embracing new challenges and personal growth to become a more resilient and capable leader. Such as learning to forecast/manage risk for an Industry Buisness Unit.Today, having a better understanding, I possess a drive to assist others with their own personal growth and development. By utilizing Emotional Intelligence as one of my best skills in developing and coaching high performance teams that thrive in the workplace.Positive Workplace Culture is key to the success of all Stakeholders. Building an environment based on trust and inclusion ensures that everyone is aligned with the needs of both the organization and the employees.
