At Pret I was barista that is currently undergoing training for a leadership position which includes overseeing health and safety, fire safety, food hygiene, keeping records up to date and daily audits of stock, bathrooms and equipment quality. I was also in charge of reporting any faulty equipment to my shop manager and logging call for said equipment, I do this through the manager WhatsApp group as well as email. During the day I work on ensuring the best quality cleaning and customer service, as the current evening barista I was responsible for clean and closing of coffee equipment that was in use as well as admin/banking at the end of day. I have also been tasked with making sure we pass all the government health and safety checks as well as external mystery shopper checks focusing on quality of service of which I have won an award on explementary service by the mystery shopper themselves.
