I played a vital role in resolving a challenging issue related to solvent dilution caused by an unidentified “mystery oil.” By actively engaging in troubleshooting and problem-solving, I identified the root cause and implemented effective solutions, resulting in significant improvements to the overall extraction process.To enhance cost savings for Cannabee Extracts, I introduced a dry ice slurry and utilized a thermal blanket, leading to substantial financial benefits. Moreover, I successfully increased the overall potency of the product, achieving an average of 80%-90% total cannabinoids during testing, as compared to the previous range of 60%-70%. By eliminating methanol (Medusa), the quality of the extracts was significantly improved.Additionally, I successfully increased yields for cured flower from 10%-12% to 20%-30%, and for live resin from 1%-2.5% to 3%-5%. These improvements not only boosted productivity but also contributed to the overall success of Cannabee Extracts.Furthermore, I am proud to share that my innovative Tahitian Sunset extraction process garnered Cannabee Extracts a second-place award in the High Times 2023 competition for AU extracts.
