The result was an increase in individual productivity and a decrease in carton recirculation rate- New-hire training class instituted to ensure proper training for associates entering the department

Transportation Manager responsible for all transportation metrics involving Monroe, OH Rapid Deployment Center, including annual transportation spend of over $16M. Metrics include, but are not limited to, outbound freight cost, inbound freight cost, on-time performance, cube per load, store delivery frequency, backhaul efficiency, dedicated fleet utilization, and Voice of the Customer ratings. Ultimately responsible for service to 126 Home Depot stores across seven states. Direct report to the General Manager of the facility while managing a staff of seven, including one salaried leader.Manage dedicated carrier fleet operations that included 67 tractors and 70 drivers.

Area supervisor for the Inbound department at the Monroe, OH Rapid Deployment Center. I joined The Home Depot as part of a leadership team that would be part of the opening of a new distribution center in Monroe, OH. I was responsible for the training, development, and daily management of 27 direct report associates in the Inbound/Receiving department.

Summer logistics internship turned into Receiving Department Team Lead position at E-Commerce distribution center in Monroe, OH. While in this role, I was responsible for delegating daily job duties to a department of 12-18 employees.
