I am a people person, I enjoy getting to know others, especially when we are frequently working together. By nature, I am inherently curious, interested in how the world functions. I have a growth-mindset and passion for learning. I enjoy concurring new challenges. I also consider myself an open-minded person. I have beliefs and understanding of how things operate, but I am not opposed to hearing new, well thought out ideas. Achieving my Biochemistry degree required me to be a critical thinker. I had to critically analyze complex concepts and become a problem solver. I learned how to observe problems from different perspectives and collaborate with others to identify next steps and make informed decisions. With my MBA, I learned to observe all the parts of an organization. The importance of each part, and how external factors affect internal processes. Aside from business principles and leadership skills, I learned to examine value creation and delivery of successful businesses. My academic education has been a key part of my success, but I would argue that my experience in the field has been equally important. My current role has given me unique ability to observe our business operations on a national level. See how distribution partners operate in their regions and how their customers operate at the local level. This perspective allowed me to help build a new product into a profitable segment of our organization and profitable part of our distribution partners’ organizations. I have a proven track record of success in the building supplies industry. I have helped double my territory revenue from 2019 to 2022. Won two sales incentive awards in my three eligible years. I have developed a reputation for strong communication skills, problem-solving, trust, and effective customer relationship building.I am committed to continuous professional and personal development. I frequently read (& listen to) non-fictional books on business and self-improvement. Though I do love dramatized non-fiction and fictional movies and TV-series. Anything with an alluring story or a good laugh. I am recently married, and the proud co-owner of an 8-year-old Pug named Apple. I enjoy being outdoors, walking, hiking, biking, and golfing! Love traveling and exploring new places, especially if they have great food. I try to be with friends and family whenever timing allows.
