www.kvalimad.dk / www.kvalifood.com / shop.kvalimad.dkkvalimad (sic) is my favorite project that combines my love of food, technology, media, storytelling and teaching. It is one of the most popular websites about food and cooking in Denmark.There has been almost 30m page views on kvalimad since I started the site. Every year between 2m and 3m different Danes visits the site. There has also been about 6m views on the youtube channel since the beginning.The latest change is that I have added a web shop with cooking tools as part of the site. Self employed - mxm IT's Mad Sciencemxm is my own company that I have had for more than 30 years alongside other employment and projects. In 2002 I became full time self employed.

I played electronic music, wrote articles, short stories, released records, gave public speeches, played concerts and produced music for others. Debated in the media about technology and the future. Especially about the term “cyberpunk” which I was the one to introduce in Denmark as the first person.

I developed modules and web and mail based solutions in Python, Zope, Plone, PHP, SQL Databases, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, Google Charts. Data Analysis, gathering and representation was also a major part of my work. The customers were mainly large governmental agencies.

Did advertising and branding based multimedia and IT projects for some of the largest companies in Denmark. Everything from print to CD-Rom and web based solutions in .asp with JavaScript and VBScript. I did some backend work in Perl . The web was just starting in that period.

Novavision was Fyens Stiftstidenes (Local Danish newspaper) branch for "new media". I did the "New Media Content" and Information Architecture for the customers. And the project management. My multimedia and programming was mainly done on CD-Roms in Lingo at that time. Static Web sites in Dreamweaver and HTML was the norm. I also did 3D work and sound design for commercials and visualisation.

I started up the education that later turned into the country wide Academy Profession Programme (AP) in Media and Communication “Multimedia Designer”.I taught the planning and implementing of interactive new media projects, interactive and linear storytelling, using the tools for new media development like Adobe Photoshop, 3D Studio Max, Macromedia Director, Sound Editors.
