Wrote legal articles in support of establishment of veterans court in Lubbock County. Researched statistics and legal data of similar courts in Texas in furtherance of establishing a veterans treatment court. Advocated for a veterans court to be established in the county with local judges and attorneys.

Wrote motions and helped write responses to motions for complex commercial litigation firm. This would include creating client letters and speaking to clients as initial point of contact for legal claims. I researched many federal and Texas legal issues regarding commercial litigation topics and discovery. I would then edit legal work from managing attorney to prepare for the court. Later I accompanied the managing attorney during both pretrial and trial of litigation.

Conducted legal research for large West Texas veteran run non-profit which aids local veterans medical and economic needs as well as conducting research for head injuries sustained in combat. I then organized events to raise money for local veterans to provide housing and research. Then I wrote legal memoranda for general counsel based on veterans law.

As an intern for the National Securities Studies program at Syracuse Universities Maxwell School, I helped organize program with over 30 GS-15 or O-6 individuals within the private sector and military. This would include structuring the curriculum and organizing travel.

As part of large brokerage firm's private client sector, I assisted customers with personal finances and helped decide the best options for the customer’s portfolios.
