I am passionately curious and an enthusiastic problem solver. As a young child, I loved to take different things apart to figure out how they work and to find better ways to make them work. That trait has followed me throughout my career which has afforded me to grow and learn. With the many facets that Home Automation consists of today, I have acquired a vast knowledge of a lot of different technologies. The many years I have spent side by side with electronic devices has helped me understand how they operate and how to make them operate the way I want them to operate. Looking towards the future, I realized that home automation and smart home technology is growing exponentially, and that networking is becoming more and more prevalent, I decided to pursue a degree in Network Management from Catawba Valley Community College to help with my understanding of such, as well as feed my curiosity of networking. I am planning on furthering my knowledge by taking some courses similar to the array of CompTIA and Cisco certifications. I have spent years learning specific manufacturer programming language which has allowed me to gain knowledge about different programming languages, operating systems, service techniques, programing styles, and others. I think it is time to gather formal knowledge and leverage my years in the field as well as in the classroom to better myself and my employer.
