• Coordinate and supervise on-field activities of mini programs and events.• Train, support and supervise mini program parent- and student-coaches.• Support youth coaches and players by providing materials, sessions and advice on skills and tactical subjects as required (including conditioning, drills, practices, game strategy, etc.).• Deliver and supervise summer camps, mini tournaments, jamborees, etc.• Attend spring tryouts and provide support to coaches requesting assistance.• Assist with planning and operating annual tournament. • Liaise with the PEISA concerning access to and utilization of its in-house technical expertise.

- Engages in consultations with Sport PEI member organizations to help identify and facilitate the growth of amateur sport at the community and provincial level. Particularly, the Sport Coordinator is responsible for the successful management and delivery of the Active Start program across Prince Edward Island.-Work with PSOs to assist them in the development and delivery of their Long Term Athlete Development strategy- Manage the effective delivery of NCCP multi-sport modules and support PSOs in their coach development strategies- To act as resource person in communicating developments in all areas of the position- Develop promotional/messaging strategies regarding Active Start, LTAD and coaching, for parents and the general public- Provide regular reports and updates to advisory committees and other partners- Maintain a working knowledge of and support all Sport PEI programs and services
