A student facing role, managing and supporting over 100 student run society groups at Loughborough Students Union. Designing, implementing and leading on events across the year.

A student volunteer role working directly with the Societies Community Lead and Societies Administrator. Supported the community lead with running biweekly committee meeting of the Societies Executive, presenting and assisting at events and training. Developing new projects to support Society and student engagement.

A student volunteer role. As the Chair of Flix, I was the lead of a 6 person committee. My time as Chair was my favourite part of my University experience and will always remain one of the most important parts of my professional development. Key successes and achievements for me in this role included taking the society from £2000 deficit to financially sustainable within five weeks, resulting in a £1500 surplus by the end of my year. Almost doubling the membership size and engagement for the society was also a proud moment for me. Organising a presenting an entire awards night to the society to coincide with the Oscar’s taught me my love for event management.

My first student volunteer role at LSU. Organised and ran all social events for Flix Cinema members. Highlights in this role for me included reintroducing social elements to the society following the Covid-19 pandemic and working alongside the committee to plan a financially sustainable schedule for the year.
