My job is to connect the thousands of alumni of these organizations into the current work of The Public Interest Network and deepen their engagement in the broader social change movement.Responsibilities include:-Planning events that encourage and provide opportunities for social and professional networking among alumni and current staff.-Executing a communications strategy that includes e-mail, newsletters, web content, and social media-Maintaining and improving current alumni contact information and managing the alumni database-Working to devise and implement creative projects to engage alumni in our campaigns-Fundraising by conducting major donor outreach.

-Recruited, trained and managed a team of 10-40 people in the office and out in the field.-Summer office 2018 raised over $500,000 for our partner organizations (Environment Oregon and OSPIRG), and educated over 41,000 Oregonians on environmental and public health issues.-Oversaw administrative functions related to campaign goals, staff management, fundraising and membership development, and general office management.-Ensured that funds raised and member information collected gets to partner organizations-Managed staff's payroll accurately and in a timely fashion-Directly canvassed and raised money effectively for partner organizations (2-3 days a week), identifying supporters and educated the public on important issues.
