Role and responsibilitiesResponsible for the creation and successful execution of the Master Production Schedule and relaying this to the production site, management, customer services.Balancing the plan to meet the customers requirements alongside manufacturing and supply chain constraints.Holding weekly meetings with production, process and engineer managers to discuss issues and potential problems with the forecasted plan.Raising purchase orders with suppliers to acquire materials in line with agreed procurement specifications, pricing, lead times and shelf life.Producing a weekly forecast to key vendors of future procurement needs.Ensuring material master data and parameters are accurate to drive a robust, achievable materials plan which supports the production plan.Define and implement vendor communication processes which provide positive assurance of future deliveries and early warning of potential issues.Producing and publishing vendor performance information to support vendor performance quality reviews, inventory management as required.Optimising inventory levels to minimise expiry of materials without business risk.Contributing to the continuous improvement of the supply chain.Take on an appropriate share of departmental support activities (SAP data housekeeping, new materials introduction).

Hill Dickinson is a full service international legal law firm which comprises of nine offices within the UK, Greece and Singapore.My role at Hill Dickinson is to work in a small team which controls the entire companies supply chain, this involves dealing with national companies ranging from IT companies, catering suppliers, stationary supply companies, utility companies and also travel agencies.Due to the limited number of employees in my team and the size of the organization it required me to work well under extreme pressure and to meet tight deadlines. The role required me to use my good communication skills so that I could successfully manage the supply chain and the company’s employees. I also had to provide analysis and support to other areas of this international law firm.Key responsibilities- Providing cover for business travel bookings when required liasing directly with suppliers and internal customers- Processing, analyzing and recording invoices for the department. This also include dealing with any disputes and issues that arise from the day to day management of invoices from suppliers.- Supporting the procurement team in the administration of service level agreements and key performance indicators through supplier management programs. - An on going and effective communication with key stakeholders/internal customers and suppliers.- Interacting with other members of the companys business support team on a cross functional basis.- Maintaining and organised filing system.- Vendor management of stationary supplies
