Premier offers me a fantastic opportunity to utilize an array of tools to do what it is I am passionate about: using data to solve problems. Through Excel, VBA Macros, and BI tools like Tableau, I am able to analyze and present millions of dollars worth of revenue and savings every year.With a knowledge of VBA macros, I find new ways to save my internal analytics team time when performing our complex yet repetitive regional analytics. Over the last year and a half, I have saved our team many hundreds of hours.Recently, I managed a top 30 account for Premier and worked directly with their Supply Chain VPs to identify cost savings opportunities using these various cost saving tools. In this role I collaborated with client executives and management across all hospital service lines to implement over $3M in savings annually. Critical to the success of the project was my ability to become a trusted advisor and integrate myself with their contracting teams. In this role, I led monthly onsite meetings with key stakeholders in supply chain to review savings goals, to evaluate contracts and to identify cost savings opportunities.

Assists Senior VP in managing a team of 15 seasoned healthcare consultants towards reaching a one year cost savings goal of $30 Million. Manages project online database that houses all data and work-plan information for each of the 250(and counting) savings projects. Tracks and monitors milestones for each savings project with consultant. Manages process surrounding bi-monthly Corporate Executive sign-off meetings as well as Project Management Office meetings that are essential for approval of team savings projects. Conducts daily strategic meetings with hospital stakeholders to proactively avoid potential obstacles and solve problems.Provides vital project status information to and communicates with hospital corporate executives and supply chain management. Works with service line lead consultants in savings opportunities, working data analysis, facilitating supplier meetings, and procuring hard savings.
