Having started my career in 2016, I have achieved great things in a short period of time. I look forward to the change I can bring in the coming years.During my time at University I undertook two water sampling projects of the Narrabeen lagoon catchment and Manly Lagoon catchment. From these projects I produced reports on the current health of these catchments.I have worked as a Trainee Environmental Health Officer at the Hills Shire Council where I was retained as a Graduate Environmental Health Officer at the conclusion of my initial contract. Here I specialised in on-site wastewater approvals and inspections, food safety and public health inspections through the generalist role.I now work at Northern Beaches Council as an Environmental Health Officer where i started in the specialised inspections stream focusing on food safety and public health inspections and have sinced moved to an area based generalist role.I am involved on the NSW Environmental Health Australia board as an observer. I have a strong focus developing risk based inspection programs to promote public health while also working on policy and procedure to provide greater efficiency and more meaningful outcomes to my work and others.In 2019 I represented the Northern Beaches Council team with five of my team mates at the NSW Australasian Management Challenge and won alongside my peers.I have presented at the 2019 EHA conference where I was awarded the NSW Early Career Environmental Health Officer of the Year.
