To equip and provide value to IMI with technical sourcing capabilities for major emerging technology business - Ebike and Power Module including key critical components for Built to Print projects. Participate in full life cycle of project. From product development and design cycle including NPI, Mass Production upto EOL of project. Also worked on localisation of parts for project that was transferred from End customer in US. Job role includes Sourcing and Procurement for Indirect Materials - solder materials/Chemical including Plastic Resin in Jan 2024. Manages strategic supplier engagement/selection, BOM cost take down, Sample and NPI stage and initial Mass production kick off material availability. Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills while managing multiple projects and commodities.

Joined Jun 2009 stationing in Speedy-Tech Shenzhen, Liantang in China for 7 years before being transferred to Speedy-Tech Singapore starting Jun 2016. First 3 years joining company, managed Electro-mechanical, Packaging, PCB and Mechanical commodities. Handled over Mechanical and PCB commodities after respective Commodity managers are in place and continued to manage Electro-Mechanical and Packaging Commodities. Also supported IDM - Solder Material and Chemical commodity for supplier consolidation and alternative sourcing in Liantang site while stationing there. Between 2016 to 2018, also managed Active and Passive commodity for closed to 2 years due to resignation of respective Commodity Manager. Implementing global commodity/sourcing strategies and improving cash flow management by extending payment terms with suppliers without impacting supply chain performance.
