- Collaborate with team of spokespeople to manage public relations for criminal, civil, antitrust, civil rights, national security, and environmental cases in Office of Public Affairs- Monitor progress of prosecutions and settlements and evaluate relevant legal documents, including for Office of Attorney General, Office of the Deputy Attorney General, Criminal Division, Civil Rights Division, and National Security Division- Track congressional proceedings related to DOJ and craft appropriate responses- Write press releases, readouts, and blogs for all DOJ divisions and communicate with attorneys for information- Compile news coverage packages on DOJ operations and share with appropriate divisions to inform actions, e.g. Antitrust Division, Office of Special Counsel Jack Smith, ands Office of the Solicitor General- Work directly with AG, DAG, and assistant attorney generals by writing speeches, preparing for interviews, and advancing public appearances- Extended return internship offer to continue working on multiple historic cases
