I am a university graduate with a bachelors degree from the British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) in Professional Musicianship, my final grade being a 2:1.During my final year I became involved in multiple journalistic jobs, namely as a freelance journalist for both QM records and Wordplay magazine, where most of my work can be found. My job at these companies has been to write articles, reviews and interviews for numerous artists and musicians. Some of note are, Emmavie, Barney Artist & Mr Jukes, Snoh Aalegra and Jordan Rakei. Alongside this I am also the writer and host of my own podcast, you can find it on Spotify under “Sounds Pretentious”, on the show my co host and I discuss all sorts of music related topics and current affairs within the industry, the show has been received well by a good sized audience.I’m looking to get into the field of journalism full time, I’ve always had a passion for writing and would love to make a career from it, I’m a hard working and punctual person who always works to the best of my ability on all projects I’m involved with, I love working as part of a team, however I can always work proficiently on my own.
