As an Enrollment Advisor at Ashford University, I was responsible for managing several things. My main duties included enrolling and retaining students for both BA and MA programs, managing internal and external communication within the team as well as with our students, working toward building and maintaining company brand image with all potential customers, and performing ongoing customer/market research profiling to identify customer needs. I assumed a lead role within the team due to strengths in sales, marketing, and communication skills. As the leader, I was responsible for making sure there was an established and maintained clientele (student) list, as well as continuously performing ongoing customer/market research profiling to identify customer needs and analyzing competitors to better evaluate competitiveness of offers. As a team, we expanded our client base by consistently delivering goal-surpassing marketing and sales results and ensuring complete student/client satisfaction. I was also responsible for mentoring students regarding study habits and best practices for becoming acclimated to the programs.

As an intern, I was involved with many aspects of learning the business side of a sports facility. For most of my time there, I was responsible for using an innovative approach to create a template for balanced programs to assist trainers in the development of athlete-specific training programs. I was also a member of the creative team that assisted with conceptualizing and orchestrating marketing campaigns that effectively reinforce and build brand image. Day to day, I generated attendance reports to analyze and compare to data from previous years, provided facility tours to prospective members, and provided information to gain clientele and facilitate interaction with potential customers. I was also responsible for organizing and managing all customer information.
