Cofounded a hardware company with an engineering classmate from Dartmouth. Our product is a gesture and voice controlled smart display with Amazon Alexa. We launched presales in March '16 and were featured by Buzzfeed, Futurism, Popsugar, MacObserver, and others. Selected as a top presenter at VA Brain Trust conference, and accepted to Nvidia Inception Deep Learning and AI Startup Program.• Researched, designed, engineered, and sourced a production ready unit.• Engineered and developed a gesture and voice interface using a depth cameraand microphone array.• Met target costs and size goals - engineered a unit that was on time, on budgetand met the company standard for size and weight.• Engineered all mechanical parts in CAD and sourced manufactured parts.• Built and managed marketing setup, including Facebook Ads, Google Analytics,Adwords, Mailchimp automation flow, referral system using ReferralCandy. Builtmarketing materials and designed website using Sketch.• Built and managed strategic partnerships with Intel, Arrow Electronics, OSDDisplays, Marriott, Oracle, and Sabre Hospitality.
