About Max Rizzi
Over the course of a decade, I developed my bilingual ENG-SPA reporting, writing and editing skills working in a fast-paced international newsroom environment, where I was faced with the challenge of habitually having to craft and/or accurately translate meaningful, impactful stories under extremely tight deadlines. During my final two years at the Reuters Bureau in Buenos Aires, I got to deputize for the local editor-in-chief, effectively serving as the leader of a six-journalist team during his absence. I excel at conducting independent research and fact-checking, translating written pieces, no matter the topic or the tone -although the fields I am most passionate about are music theory, literature, cinema, economics, finances and philosophy. I am currently working as a freelance journalist and translator (ENG<>SPA) as well as a Cambridge-certified ESL Instructor teaching online group and 1-1 classes.
