Researcher, Skillsville Project
Current-Collect and analyze data on the Skillsville Project, a Twin Cities PBS and Department of Education Ready to Learn grant-funded initiative, aimed at developing self-regulation, executive function, and career exploration skills in children ages 5-8 through educational media-Conduct individual interviews and assessments with children in afterschool settings to evaluate the program’s impact on career understanding and skill application-Administer assessments, including the Minnesota Executive Function Scale(MEFS), Head Toes Knees Shoulders Task(HTKS-Revised), and LanguageScreen digital activity-Engage in on-site fieldwork with up to 6 children per day at community sites, such as Boys & Girls Clubs and 21st Century Learning Centers, gathering qualitative data on children’s skills for everyday and career success
