-Collect and analyze data on the Skillsville Project, a Twin Cities PBS and Department of Education Ready to Learn grant-funded initiative, aimed at developing self-regulation, executive function, and career exploration skills in children ages 5-8 through educational media-Conduct individual interviews and assessments with children in afterschool settings to evaluate the program’s impact on career understanding and skill application-Administer assessments, including the Minnesota Executive Function Scale(MEFS), Head Toes Knees Shoulders Task(HTKS-Revised), and LanguageScreen digital activity-Engage in on-site fieldwork with up to 6 children per day at community sites, such as Boys & Girls Clubs and 21st Century Learning Centers, gathering qualitative data on children’s skills for everyday and career success

-Advise and support a diverse caseload of students, monitoring academic performance and providing proactive outreach and referrals for students facing crises or academic challenges-Partner with faculty, staff, and campus departments to ensure equitable access to academic, wellness, and experiential resources-Assist in planning and implementing the Summer Start bridge program, offering tailored support to new cohorts and enhancing student success in transition programs

-Attend high school musical productions across the Rochester area, providing constructive feedback on performance elements such as singing, acting, dancing, ensemble work, pit orchestra, and tech -Collaborate with program coordinators to identify and select outstanding students for advancement to the Jimmy Awards in New York City

-Mentor adult-aged trumpet players during sectional rehearsals multiple times a month-Provide individualized feedback and instruction to enhance section cohesion and performance quality

-Partner with director, Herb Smith, in coaching students on improvisation and section playing-Lead rehearsals in director’s absence-Manage ensemble by scheduling, sending updates, and coordinating logistics

-Collaborated with students to identify and articulate their unique experiences and strengths, transforming their personal statements and application essays into compelling narratives-Conducted detailed reviews of application essays, focusing on structure, clarity and impact-Facilitated mock interviews tailored to specific graduate and medical school programs, offering constructive feedback to enhance students’ interview performance

-Individually advised students seeking internships, jobs, and research experience through design thinking methodology to allow for exploration and placement in their respective fields-Led the marketing and creative career community through building relationships with internal and external stakeholders-Developed and executed career-based educational programs for students, established learning outcomes, and interacted with alumni to facilitate workshops and networking opportunitiesCollege Advising:-Advised undergraduate international and domestic students in academic planning, registration and college policies-Proactively engaged at-risk students placed on academic probation by assessing their needs and collaboratively created individualized success plans

-Composed/devised songs for the A.R.T Kids Company Program, taught the music, rehearsed, and accompanied 8-10 year old participants for a final performance

PI: Dr. David Creswell-Healthy Aging Study: Collected, entered, cleaned data, and facilitated participant visits, for an NIH clinical trial investigating mindfulness-based stress reduction as an intervention for loneliness, inflammatory biomarkers, and socio functioning in healthy older adults-Equanimity Study: Piloted study protocols, tested Ecological Momentary Assessment phone survey software, and ran participants, to investigate mindfulness training in its contribution to stress resistance and health among young adults
