Responsible for development,delivery and maintenance of accessible, up-to-date, effective and sustainable Electronic Medical Record (EMR) training programs for clinicians and their support staff. Works directly with clinical staff to facilitate IS service capabilities and commitments, and to represent their EMR application experience and needs back to Information Services. Provides leadership, technical project coordination, consultative services, and liaison with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure positive training outcomes. Provides ongoing training support as needed in support of project operations.

Operate and maintain complex medical simulator (e.g. SimBaby) used at Seattle Children's Hospital. Maintain an educational setting to support competency and performance training for personnel providing medical care. Maintain and increase awareness and effectiveness of simulator-based education. Assist scenario leaders/facilitators in operating simulator-based clinical education of trainees. Assist students and faculty with preparing for and conducting simulation-based learning experiences.

Camp Buehring, Kuwait

Provide Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)/Combat Medic Advanced Skills Training (CMAST) to the 91W/ 68W Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) and Navy Corpsmen. Provide Combat Lifesaver Training (CLS) to non-medical personnel to include civilians, various US military services and foreign militaries. Training methodologies include the use of didactic lecture and high fidelity human simulators in conjunction with auditory and visual stimulus to induce a physiological stress response in the student during the psychomotor application of the training. Developed curriculum for a variety of training needs ranging from small group instruction, large group (100+) instruction, and multi-phase simulations requiring the coordination of several organizations. From October 2009- October 2010 Medical Simulation Training Center Kuwait trained approximately 20,000 military and civilian students.
