The Directorate for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB) is responsible for the tax treatment of SMBs and distinguishes entities in the medium-sized business (approximately 0.4 million) and the small business (approximately 1.8 million small businesses, startups, and self-employed individuals). The customer approach is characterized by information-oriented supervision and an integrated and subject-oriented approach. SMB aims to optimize tax revenues through the use of various enforcement and oversight tools to strengthen compliance, with a focus on smart and new IT applications. SMB is also responsible for shaping and implementing comprehensive government cooperation. And SMB is involved in debt collection and valuation research.

The biggest customer annoyances in the supermarket are missing products and long checkout lines. My job involves keeping track of the inventory in Jumbo supermarkets. My personal motto is: “empty shelves are a setback”. Under my responsibility, several Jumbo stores have consistently generated more revenue.

I did an internship as a court clerk at the Rotterdam District Court, located in Dordrecht. During this internship, I learned how to work independently and systematically. I also gained insight into the ins and outs of the court process in criminal cases. It was a valuable learning experience that sparked my personal interest in law.
