The Ride Operations Management Intern position at Morey's Piers is a supervisory-level position that places students in real, direct leadership roles. It provides the opportunity to develop managerial, leadership, and communication skills in a fun and exciting environment. Interns will assist in overall amusement facility operations and will facilitate the following areas:- Ride Systems Operation, -Associate training, coaching, and recognition of front-line staff members; -Monitoring attraction throughput and ensuring efficiency standards are met; -Ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Guidelines; -Leading ride group meetings; conducting breaks; -Facilitating rotations, and being the first responders to guest and ride issues within their ride group. -Demonstrate ability to work both independently and in a team-based environments-Navigate and work efficiently in a fast-paced pace, high-intensity pier environment.-Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality-Responsible for completing facility audits and ensuring all requirements are met for piers to open on a daily basis. As a Rides Assistant Supervisor, you'll provide exceptional guest service while delivering the thrills and excitement we're known around the world for. You will ensure excellent guest and ambassadors' service by responding to and exceeding their requirements, expectations, and needs. -Directly supervises ambassadors in Rides Operations-Enthusiastically represents SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy, and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.-Ensures excellent guest service by responding to guest expectations and resolving guest situations.-Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies-Ensure ambassadors receive break and meal periods in accordance with company policy -Follows and ensures compliance with company policy regarding minors.-Provides ambassadors with proper training and tools needed to complete assigned tasks.-Monitors daily operations of Rides and other Park areas as needed.-Daily coaching and follow-up on ambassador performance.-Issue Performance Tracking Forms for minor-level corrective action and positive performance.-Conducts equipment and safety checks on a daily basis in compliance with department and company standards.-Maintains inventory and stocks/replaces area supplies and equipment as needed.-Communicate effectively with other areas within the department as well as other departments in the park.-Enforces department/park policies and procedures.-Tracks information to complete daily and weekly reports -Oversees and teaches necessary training (including safety-related training) for new and existing ambassadors.-Maintains area cleanliness to include sweeping/hosing pathways, picking up trash, scrubbing stains and emptying trash cans and more.-Attends to ambassadors/guests and follows park protocol in emergency situations.-Occasionally assists other locations and areas in the park as needed.-Other duties as assigned.

As a Rides Operator/Department Trainer, you'll provide exceptional guest and ambassador service while delivering the thrills and excitement we're known for around the world. You will ensure our Ambassadors receive in park training and giving them the tools they need to respond to any situation that may arise in day to day operations. -Train new and recertified existing ambassadors in the Ride Operations department -Lead on-the-job group training sessions and perform day one regulatory training(s) for new Ambassadors. -Monitor rides and ensure all new ambassadors are following all safety regulations (Corporate, Local, and State Regulations)-Assist in loading and unloading guests from rides quickly and safely in a fast-paced environment-Report unsafe situations to department leadership, while protecting fellow team members from hazards-Assist leadership as needed with departmental functions such as pre and post-season breakdown-Assist the park operations leadership with state-required run-time regulations during the pre-season-Perform and assist leadership in certain aspects of development with newer Ambassadors

Sr. Ride Host at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment-Sesame Place: As a Ride Operator, you'll provide exceptional guest service while delivering the thrills and excitement we're known around the world for. You will ensure excellent guest service by responding to and exceeding their requirements, expectations, and needs. In all you do, you will consistently practice safe work habits, including the use of personal protection equipment (PPE). Job Responsibilities:-Monitor rides while following all safety regulations (Corporate/Local and State Regulations)-Test equipment before the opening of rides for the day and perform nightly shut-down procedures -Ensure guests meet ride requirements-Assist in loading and unloading guests from Rides-Maintain area cleanliness-Maintain guest safety at all times-Answer guest questions and advise them on show times and park attractions-Maintain a professional appearance-Report unsafe situations -Assist Leadership as needed with specific departmental functions such as Pre and Post- Season Breakdown and Setup including performing and Assisting Leadership in Non-Essential Training for certain department functions with newer Team Members.
