-Facilitates cooperative mediation between consumers and businesses to reach an equitable solution-Resolves complaints by initial review of consumer complaint files and taking actions to initiate informal mediation-Manages social media team to promote interaction and provide information to the public-Developed a “train the trainer” program for retail managers to use in training their employees on gift card scams to prevent loss to scammers asking for gift card payments

 Advise local Democratic candidates on effective strategies for organizing and recruiting volunteers, messaging, and how best to meet with constituents  Create awareness of the organization on the campus of Bowling Green State University and establish new membership in the organization Develop event programing, such as policy discussion events and social events, to keep membership actively engaged throughout the year  Recruit qualified candidates for internship opportunities offered by the organization, conducted interviews for qualified Internship Candidates Collaborate with other members of the organization’s executive board to determine the goals of the organization, look for opportunities to expand our presence, and fundraise to support Democratic candidates across the county

-Built coalitions between the campaign and like-minded organizations to perform outreach to voters on issues important to them and their communities-Led a team of 15 dedicated volunteers to engage in outreach efforts to voters in the district through phone banking and letter writing-Developed creative solutions for volunteers to safely participate in political engagement during the COVID-19 pandemic

-Created a social media strategy to boost engagement and increase turnout to various campaign events-Organized groups of volunteers and campaign staff to knock on over 3,000 before the primary election-Developed a collaborative campaign structure that emphasized adaptability and teamwork

-Studied the impact of newspaper coverage regarding gender in the 2018 Ohio gubernatorial campaign season-Completed detail-oriented content-coding of over 500 newspaper articles along with two fellow researchers-Assembled and managed database of over 500 newspaper articles devoted to the 2018 Ohio governor’s race-Co-authored paper entitled “The Pink Wave Fails to Come Ashore: Press Coverage of the 2018 Ohio Primary Race for Governor,” currently under review at The Social Science Journal
